Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a referral? No. Referrals are not required to see a podiatrist. However, on occasion you may be referred under Medicare on a Chronic Disease Management (CDM) plan (previously known as an Enhanced Primary Care plan) which you will need to provide at the time of consultation. It is important to understand that your CDM will not cover all of your consultation costs. We also accept referrals for Veterans (D904)
How do I pay for my consultation? Payment is required at the completion of your consultation. We provide HICAPS for your private health fund needs, and eftpos facilities for card payments. We can also process your Medicare claims online if you are referred on a CDM.
Cancellation Policy
In order to cancel or reschedule an appointment, we require 24 hours’ notice. If this notice is not provided, we will be unable to fill the appointment with someone that may require it and as such, you will be charged a $50 cancelation fee. In the event that multiple appointments are cancelled or missed we reserve the right to ask for payment of your appointment in advance to reserve your booking.
